The control ball or trackball is intended for people with hand motor difficulties, as well as for those for whom precision and fine cursor movements are important in their work.

Working with the trackball requires minimal muscle strength, and the hand can lie relaxed on the ergonomically designed stand. Even the slightest touch of the ball turns into a precise movement of the cursor on the screen.

Neither a flat surface nor a large surface to stand on is required for work. For additional comfort and easier operation, it is possible to add external switches.

Wireless version and classic model

The control ball or trackball is available in two models. Choose the classic Optima model or the wireless SimplyWorks model .

Who is the trackball intended for?

The control ball or trackball is intended for people with hand motor difficulties. It is also suitable for experts who deal with graphic data, drawing and designing, as well as for those who value precision and fine cursor movements.

Working on a computer is much easier because it is enough to hold your hand on an ergonomically shaped surface and control the movements of your palm, thumb or other fingers, without additional movement of your hand. Minimal power is required for operation, so even the weakest touch turns the movement of the ball into a precise movement of the coin on the screen. That's why this is the ideal solution for all users who have problems with the fine motor skills of their hands.

What are the advantages of Optima and SimplyWorks trackballs?

When working with a control ball, you don't need a flat surface or a large surface to stand on. The surface on which it will stand is actually equal to the size of the device itself, because unlike a mouse, it is not necessary to move your hand along with the device.

With the mouse, it can also happen that you reach the end of its "reach" on the screen, so you have to lift it from the base and put it down again to continue working. With the control ball, the hand does not move, and a light touch on its surface turns into cursor movements. Optima and SimplyWorks use optical technology for fine and precise cursor control.

Since the control ball does not depend on the surface on which it is placed, you can hold it in your hands or on your lap. You no longer need to worry that you won't be able to work smoothly due to an uneven surface.

You don't have to hold the device in your hand to press any of the three additional buttons, and the left and right click buttons can also be connected to external switches.

Optima and SimplyWorks trackball work

There is a large ball and three buttons on the ergonomically designed stand. Moving the ball moves the cursor on the screen. Impeccably smooth movements of the ball turn into precise movements of the cursor.

Pressing the left red button has the function of left click, and pressing the right yellow button has the function of right click. On the side there are sockets for external switches, so the buttons can also be operated that way. There is a blue button in the middle which is used to hold the retract function with just one press. This means that it is no longer necessary to hold down the button the entire time dragging objects around the screen. All the buttons are slightly recessed, so it is not possible to press them accidentally.

The working distance of Optima and SimplyWorks control balls can be up to 20 m.
