What is IntegraMouse Plus?
With the unique mouse IntegraMouse Plus, it is possible to control the computer exclusively with the mouth. Even the slightest movement of the lips on the mouthpiece will move the cursor on the screen, and by blowing and drawing in air it is possible to simulate mouse clicks.
This device is designed for people with plegia and paresis, progressive muscle disorders such as muscular dystrophy and ALS, or hand amputations.
It gives them the opportunity to be independent at the computer again and have their privacy, and this greatly increases the quality of life.
General features
IntegraMouse Plus is a wireless mouse, and it is compatible with all standard operating systems that support USB access. It is enough to connect the corresponding USB port and start working immediately. No additional software is required.
The device has a built-in rechargeable battery with a long service life. It is easily fixed using a suitable stand.
Three ways of use
IntegraMouse Plus can be used as a mouse, joystick or cursor.
The computer's automatic default control mode is the mouse, but you can also switch it to the cursor or joystick function.
You can do this with an external sensor or with the following combination of exhalation and inhalation: 2 short exhalations followed by 2 short inhalations within two seconds and then 1 short exhalation within one second.
Maintenance and hygiene
The IntegraMouse Plus mouse mouthpiece is made according to the highest hygienic standards. When cleaning, first detach the mouthpiece and then remove the membrane. The package with the mouse comes with 12 replaceable membranes and one spare mouthpiece.
The membrane should be thrown away, and the mouthpiece should be disinfected by boiling in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Then it should be left to cool and dry on a clean surface. After it has cooled down to room temperature and completely dried, the mouthpiece is ready for use again.
Any traces of limescale can be wiped off in no time with a soft, lint-free cloth.
