What is the Emfit SafeBed Alarm?

The Emfit SafeBed alarm is an alarm that is activated when a person gets out of bed and fails to return within a predetermined time. Also, the alarm can be activated when the person is not in bed for a certain period of time.

This provides safety for people who have a habit of standing up and walking without supervision, and the alarm sends an audible signal to family members or medical personnel nearby. SafeBed consists of a sensor placed under the mattress and a control device into which the settings are entered.

How does the Emfit SafeBed Alarm work?

If we set a short time (eg 3 seconds) the alarm will sound when the person gets out of bed. If we increase the time (up to 30 minutes), the alarm will sound if the person does not manage to return to bed within that time.

The sensor sends a signal to the control device. The control device triggers an audible alarm to alert family members or medical staff. It is also possible for the control device to send an alarm signal to a pager or mobile phone using the All in One accessory .
