What is Big Point?
Big Point message recorders are ideal for initial use of assistive communication devices. They are very easy to use, portable and light and can be used for various initial activities of initiating and encouraging communication, speech, expressing personal experiences and feelings and as support for daily activities. The package comes with 6 Big Point communicators in 6 bright colors.
All Big Point devices have a mobile transparent cover on which images with drawn signs or printed messages can be placed and fixed for visual support . The dimensions of the Big Point device (8.5 cm x 8.5 cm) are ideal for users with motor impairments or for blind and partially sighted users.
Recording and playback of messages
Recording and playback of messages is very simple. On the back of the Big Point device, switch the operating mode to "REC" and press the Big Point device. An LED light and a beep will indicate that the recording has started. Say the desired message and then release the Big Points device.
For playback, select the "PLAY" mode on the back of the Big Point device, and by pressing the Big Point device again, listen to the message you recorded. Big Point devices enable recording and playback of recordings in a maximum duration of 45 seconds.
