Smartbox devices and software
Smartbox produces assistive technology and devices for assisted communication intended for people with disabilities and children with developmental disabilities. The devices they produce can be divided into four large groups:
- assisted communication,
- environmental management,
- computer access,
- interactive learning.
For assisted communication and management of the environment, it is possible to use the Power Pad tablet or the Grid Pad series of tablets with the Grid 3 communication software , which are primarily intended for people with motor and communication difficulties. Users are also able to control their gaze through a camera such as the EyeTech TM5 Mini .
Look to Learn software contains 40 fun activities that allow children to practice using their eyes as an alternative approach to the computer.
